Paramount hat heute in den USA die Ver\u00f6ffentlichung von „Transformers: Dark of the Moon“ f\u00fcr den 30. September auf Blu-ray Disc und DVD angek\u00fcndigt. Allerdings erscheint dann zun\u00e4chst nur eine einfache Version ohne Extras in Form einer Blu-ray Disc\/DVD\/Digital Copy Kombo sowie einer einfachen DVD. Eine „Deluxe Edition“ auf Blu-ray Disc und DVD inklusive Blu-ray 3D soll erst zu einem sp\u00e4teren Zeitpunkt erscheinen. Die Blu-ray Disc wird immerhin mit einem Dolby TrueHD 7.1-Soundtrack ausgestattet sein.<\/p>\n

Wer jetzt meint, diese Doppel-Strategie diene nur der Gewinnmaximierung, f\u00fcr den hat Regisseur Michael Bay nat\u00fcrlich eine passende Erkl\u00e4rung parat: Um die 3D-Version optimal im Heimkino pr\u00e4sentieren zu k\u00f6nnen, brauche man einfach noch etwas Zeit, erkl\u00e4rte Bay:<\/p>\n

„For fans who can\u2019t wait, the Blu-ray release in September will deliver an awesome ride with the movie in stunning 1080p high definition and a 7.1 Dolby TrueHD soundtrack that was personally overseen by our phenomenal supervising sound mixer just for the Blu-ray,“ said director Michael Bay. „As you know, we put a lot of effort into the 3D experience for the theatrical release and I want to make sure we get it right for home viewing\u2013and that process takes time. So stay tuned for an even more incredible release that will include the film on Blu-ray 3D and loads of bonus features.“<\/em><\/p>\n
